Greek Doors
Original Greek photography taken in and around Santorini.
Greek doors create beautiful imagery, and lend themselves to history and poetry. Many of these doors are blue contrasting with white washed stone and echoing the turquoise of the unobstructed sky and the deep blue of the Mediterranean. Bougainvillea can act as a natural awning. Houses are usually white-washed or natural stone, and the wooden doors either tell stories of the past or, with a fresh coat of paint, look into the future. Greece’s doors are a testament to the spirit and character of Greece.
